How does waffle weave work?
The tightly woven waffle pattern creates deep pockets that retain water instead of spreading it across the paint. This makes waffle towels much more efficient than flat towels—you need to wring them out less and they dry faster.
Applications
Drying cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, boats, motorcycles, windows, mirrors, rims (after washing).
Instructions for use
- Rinse the car after washing
- Lightly moisten The Big One with clean water
- Fold the cloth in quarters to dry multiple surfaces
- Lay the cloth flat on the surface and pull towards you
- Let the cloth absorb the water (do not rub)
- Wring out when saturated
- Turn to dry side and repeat
- Work from top to bottom
Professional tip
For best results, lightly dampen the cloth first—this activates the microfibers. Use the "lay and drag" technique instead of rubbing. Wring it out regularly to maintain absorbency. For large vehicles, use two cloths (one for the top and one for the bottom). The ButterSoft™ edging is perfect for drying edges and hard-to-reach areas.
Why a 70/30 mix?
The 70% polyester / 30% polyamide blend combines the best of both worlds: polyester for durability and quick drying, polyamide for superior absorbency and softness.
Maintenance
Washing: Machine washable at 40-60°C with mild liquid detergent (free from dyes, fragrances, bleach and fabric softener)
Drying: Low temperature in dryer, do not iron.
Do not use: Fabric softener (clogs fibers), chlorine bleach
Important: Wash only with other microfiber (NO cotton!), wash new cloths before first use, wash dark colors separately
