What are iron particles?
Iron particles come from brake dust and industrial deposits. They penetrate paint and rims and can cause rust and damage over time. Often invisible to the naked eye, but noticeable as roughness on the paint.
Applications
Rims: Removes stubborn brake dust and iron deposits
Lacquer: Pre-clay treatment to remove embedded particles
Glass: Removes iron stains from windows

Instructions for use
- Make sure the surface is cool (out of direct sunlight)
- Rinse off loose dirt with water
- Spray Iron Buster evenly onto the surface
- Note the purple color change (iron particles are dissolved)
- Leave on for 3-5 minutes (do not allow to dry)
- If necessary, use a rim brush for stubborn dirt
- Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer
- Repeat if necessary for very dirty rims
Professional tip
For best results: Apply to cool surfaces out of direct sunlight. Use Iron Buster before claying the paint—this removes a significant portion of embedded particles and reduces the risk of scratches. For wheels: Use with a soft-bristled wheel brush. Repeat treatment every 3-6 months or before detailing.
How does it work?
Iron Buster reacts chemically with iron particles and dissolves them. The purple color change indicates the presence of iron particles. The product bonds with the particles and forms a liquid that rinses away easily.
