Iron Buster is designed with an advanced, pH-balanced formula that chemically dissolves iron particles without harsh acids that can damage surfaces. The formula is safe for all wheel types (aluminum, chrome, anodized, polished), paint, wraps, and ceramic coatings.
As iron particles dissolve, the product changes from colorless to purple/red – this is a chemical reaction that visually shows where iron contamination is being removed. These iron particles come from brake dust, train tracks (rail dust), and industrial fallout that have embedded themselves in your paint and wheels. Perfect as a preparation for clay bar treatment or ceramic coating application.
Use and Application
Make sure the surfaces are cool (out of direct sunlight). Spray Iron Buster liberally onto dry rims or paint. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes – you'll see the product turn purple/red as the iron particles dissolve. Use a brush to loosen stubborn brake dust from rims. Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer or a garden hose.
For paint decontamination: Spray the entire vehicle after washing. Let it sit until the color change stops. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with a clay bar treatment for complete decontamination. For extremely dirty rims: repeat the treatment or let it sit longer (max. 10 minutes). Do not allow the product to dry on surfaces.
