Material & Construction
This downpipe is made of high-quality T304 stainless steel with TIG-welded connections. The 5.2-inch diameter ensures maximum flow and minimal backpressure. The slip-on clamp design makes installation easy without the hassle of welding. Available in catless (maximum flow) or high-flow cat (200-cell sports catalyst) versions.
The downpipe replaces the restrictive OE catalytic converter for significantly improved exhaust flow. This results in a power gain of +15 HP and +25 Nm, better turbo spooling, and improved throttle response. Suitable for F-chassis (M140i, M240i, 340i, 440i) and G-chassis (540i, 640i, 740i) with a B58 engine. Compatible with non-OPF and F-series OPF models. Stage 2 tuning required.
Installation & Assembly
The downpipe is a direct bolt-on replacement. Remove the original downpipe and catalytic converter. Install the new downpipe with the slip-on clamp. Use a new gasket. Stage 2 tuning is required to prevent CEL (check engine light) and achieve optimal performance. Professional installation is highly recommended.
